Up to half of all women experience weakness in both abdominal muscles and pelvic floor muscles after pregnancy and a up to a third have a tummy gap at 8 weeks post birth. This can cause poor stability core strength which can lead to back / pelvic pain or bladder/bowel/sexual dysfunction. This is something we can help with through our specialist training.

Jodi graduated from the ESO after completing her 4 year integrated Masters degree, which included training in structural, cranial and visceral Osteopathy.

She is qualified in Western Medical Acupuncture as an adjunct to Osteopathy, holds an Itec Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy, and certification in pelvic floor stability and assessment.

As a result of her varied experience, Jodi applies a broad range of techniques, incorporating each modality as she and her patients deem appropriate.

As a mother to two young children, Jodi has a keen interest in paediatrics and womens health, and is currently undertaking further training in pelvic health rehabilitation, pelvic assessment, antenatal and postnatal health and assessment.

Jodi believes in the holistic approach of Osteopathy, and thrives on the interactions she has with people from all walks of life.

“I truly believe Osteopathy is for everyone, and love the flexibility and scope Osteopathy offers to treat a multitude of conditions. There is never a single solution to any problem, and I love approaching my patients’ symptoms or pain with a treatment plan that is as individual as they are’’
